Splendour in the Grass is over for this year, but the good news is the new collection is only a couple more weeks away until it hits the racks (every cloud has a silver lining)!

Firstly, let’s just take time today to thank and kiss the ground of all the awesome Grandparents (Grandma’s in particular), who so very, very kindly take care of their Grand kids (aka electric boys and electric tomboys), while their music loving parents, go out and have an amazing  Splendour Festival experience….

Thanks especially to those beautiful boys from Elbow, Foster the People, Pulp, Wild Beasts, Kanye West, Kaiser Chiefs, James Blake, Tim and Jean, The Kills, Pnau, Friendly Fires (that is all that I can remember seeing personally right  at this point of posting.. (yeah, funny thing about that memory after a festival, bit foggy!) and all the other talented acts, who’s names escape me at this moment…. ah those sounds that  filled that Woodfordia valley air, ah!

The Amazing Marketing and Domestic Tour Guru, Anette Perkins, who is part of the talented Splendour family and a very important cog  in the machine that brings Splendour in the Grass to us.  Annette gave birth to their second gorgeous baby,  while we carried on, in her and Terry’s abscence, we were thinking of you guys with love.

To all the working mum’s of Splendour especially Netty, who juggle that massive task of working on the festival and Mothering simultaneously…..   God bless those thermal cotton socks ladies…..

Here is some shots taken by the dazzling and very talented (not to mention quite handsome) Marc Grimwade   enjoy, I know we did.

This one adds up to 11/11 Splendours racked up to date that I have had the pleasure to enjoy… it just keeps getting better……………..
